WEARING OF FACE MASKS IN CHURCHES REMAINS MANDATORY WITHIN THE ARCHDIOCESE OF KL

In view of the latest announcement (7 September 2022)

by Health Minister YB Khairy Jamaluddin

regarding the SOP of wearing face masks indoors is now optional. Nevertheless, the Archdiocese of KL recommends that the wearing of face masks in all churches REMAINS MANDATORY FOR THE MOMENT.

Therefore, we must adhere to the wearing of facial masks whenever parishioners participate in all activities, formations and liturgical celebrations. This is to protect one another especially the elderly, the most vulnerable and those in the high-risk category among us.
