FEAST OF THE ASCENSION OF THE LORD JESUS
The Solemnity of Ascension of the Lord will be celebrated on Thursday, 29 May 2025. Masses are as follow:
i) 12.00 noon – Rosary, followed by Mass (English)
ii) 7.30 pm – Rosary, followed by Mass (Multi-lingual)

JOIN THE RCIA JOURNEY - BEGINNING JULY 2025
Are you, or someone you know, interested in learning more about the Catholic faith? The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process designed for adults who are not baptised, baptised in another Christian tradition, or baptised Catholics who have not received the Sacrament of Eucharist or Confirmation.
The next RCIA program will begin in July 2025. It is a time of prayer, reflection, and education on the teachings of the Church, leading to full initiation into Catholic Church.
If you feel God is calling you, or someone you know, to this journey of faith, we warmly invite you to enrol for the RCIA classes. LENTEN COIN BOX
During the Lenten season, all catechism children were given coin boxes to make little sacrifice by saving coins for the less fortunate children living around the world. Please return the coin boxes to your respective catechism teachers by 4th Sunday of Easter on 11 May 2025.
THE DOMINIC VENDARGON AWARD 2025
The Yayasan Tan Sri Dominic Vendargon (YTDV) offers awards for students in our Parish who have accomplished outstanding results in:
i) SPM/Cambridge IGCSE /O-Level
ii) SPM/Cambridge IGSCE/O-Level with Bible Knowledge
Those who are eligible, please obtain the application form from the Parish Office. Submission closing date: Sunday, 29 June 2025.
ON LEAVE
Fr George will be away for a pilgrimage to Rome, starting from 13 May to 24 May 2025. During his absence, Masses and other activities will keep on as usual. Thank you.
SECOND COLLECTION –SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR GOOD SHEPHERD SUNDAY
There will be a special collection for Good Shepherd or Vocation Sunday on Saturday, 10 May and Sunday, 11 May 2025. The collection is for seminary formation and up-keep of the seminaries in Malaysia. Please contribute generously.

VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED

GUIDELINES CONCERNING THE ATTENDANCE AT MASS IN CHURCH
Face Mask: We encourage Parishioners to wear face masks. However, using a face mask is strongly encouraged for persons who may be vulnerable to the Coronavirus and those with flu-like symptoms.
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion:

Holy Communion will continue to be given on the hand.

Holy Communion ministers are strongly encouraged to wear face masks while distributing the Holy Eucharist to the recipients, just to safe guard the elderly, vulnerable and congregation.

ST. THOMAS ADORATION ROOM
The Adoration Room (next to the Parish Office) is open from Monday to Saturday (7.00 am to 9.00 pm) and Sunday (7.00 am to 1.00 pm).
KINDLY ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING RULES WHILST IN THE ADORATION ROOM:

Remove your shoes before entering the room.

Maintain silence and reverence at all times.

Genuflect at the Blessed Sacrament when entering the room.

Do not touch the Tabernacle or Blessed Sacrament.

Do not move fixtures in the room or take home any prayer books or prayer cards.

Pray in silence and respect others.

No phone, food or drinks are allowed.
