WELCOMING THE FIRST-CLASS RELIC OF ST. THOMAS THE APOSTLE

We are blessed to announce that our Parish will receive the first-class relic of St. Thomas the Apostle on 11 October 2026. The relic will be brought from the National Shrine of St. Thomas Basilica of Mylapore by Most Reverend George Anthonysamy, the Archbishop of Madras - Mylapore, India.
We sincerely thank His Grace Archbishop George Anthonysamy and Rev. Fr. Clarence Devadass for their kind assistance in obtaining this first-class relic for our parish.
The relic will be placed side by side with the first-class relic of St. Faustina in our Adoration Room, where they will remain as a lasting reminder of our faith and devotion. May St. Thomas the Apostle continue to guide and strengthen our parish community.​​​​​​​

1. 5.30 pm – Novena to OLPH

Solemnity of All Saints Day – Sunday, 1 November 2026 (Day of Obligation)

1. 8.00 am – Rosary, followed by Mass at 8.30 am (Eng / BM)

2. 10.00 am – Rosary, followed by Mandarin Mass at 10.30 am

 

All Souls’ Day - Monday, 2 November 2026

1.   6.30 am – Lauds (Morning Prayer) / 6.45 am - Mass (Eng)

2.   6.00 pm – Blessing of the Bukit Ubi Cemetery

3.  7.00 pm – Blessing of the Columbarium at the Church

4.  7.30 pm – Mass (Multilingual)

 

Note: We kindly request that families with loved ones buried in this cemetery to clean up your family grave(s) before the blessing.

BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE

Parishioners are invited to write the names of their departed loved ones in the Book of Remembrance, which is placed at the breakfast corner. Their names will be offered at all Masses throughout November 2026 as we pray for the repose of their souls.

CELEBRATING 120 YEARS – PARISH FAMILY DAY

As part of our 120th Anniversary Celebrations, we are organising a Parish Family Day with an 8 – Course Chinese Dinner at Golden Empire Palace Restaurant, Kuantan, on Sunday, 15 November 2026, at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available from the organising committee members and BEC leaders.​​​

SAINT THOMAS YOUTH MINISTRY
Our Parish Youth will be organising a series of fundraising projects till next year, in conjuction with the World Youth Day.

i) The E- Waste Collection Drive – The items are CPUs, desktop computers, laptops, monitors, mobile phones, tablets, printers, TVs, microwaves, CDs, electronic media, cables, chargers, accessories, and other electrical devices.

ENGLISH PRAYER MINISTRY

Starting in October, the English Prayer Ministry will meet on every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month in St. Giles Room, instead on Thursdays.

DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET

Since July 2026, we have been praying the Chaplet before the Blessed Sacrament and the First-Class relic of St. Faustina. Groups gather daily at 3.00 pm during the Hour of Mercy in the Adoration Room. Anyone who is interested in joining, kindly be present by 2:55 pm.​
