SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

Sacrament of Confirmation will take place on Sunday, 5 July 2026, at the Church of St. Thomas in Kuantan. The recitation of Rosary begins at 8.30 am, followed by Multi-lingual Mass at 9.00 am. Archbishop Julian Leow will administer the Sacrament of Confirmation for our 30 candidates. Please take note that there will be NO Mandarin Mass on this Sunday.

 

ST. FAUSTINA: APOSTLE OF DIVINE MERCY

Since our Parish is blessed with a first-class relic of St. Faustina, we are forming a new Divine Mercy ministry. We invite you to the Adoration Room every day at 3.00 pm (the Hour of Mercy) to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet together with litany of St. Faustina. To join, please register your name with Mdm Theresa Chia or through the Parish Office by Friday, 10 July 2026. We will set up small groups and we will share details once the groups are formed.

SAFEGUARDING AWARENESS FORMATION

A special formation session will be conducted by the Archdiocese Professional Standards Office (PSO) team from Kuala Lumpur, led by Rev. Fr. Gregory Chan. The PSO is responsible for promoting the safeguarding of children and vulnerable persons within the Church. All parishioners are warmly invited to attend.

SCHOLARSHIP FOR REGENT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (RIS) KUANTAN

St. Thomas Scholarship (STC) is now open for the RIS 2026/2027 intake. Who is eligible?
- Previous STC Scholarship students 2025/2026

- New Christian students enrolled or intend to enroll for the 2026/27 RIS (Kuantan) intake.
Application forms are available at the Parish Office and must be submitted by 10 July 2026.
