MALAYSIA PASTORAL CONVENTION 2026 (MPC2026)

Archbishop Julian Leow has called on all Catholics in the Kuala Lumpur Archdiocese to observe a Day of Fast and Prayer on Friday, 4 September 2026, for the success of the MPC2026, scheduled in Sibu, Sarawak, from September 9 to 13, 2026. We are encouraged to engage in personal prayer and fasting for this purpose. To mark this, a Holy Hour will be held at the Church of St Thomas in Kuantan on Friday, 4 September 2026, including Vespers (Evening Prayer) and silent adoration before the Blessed Sacrament.

NATIONAL DAY MASS (HARI MERDEKA)

All parishioners are warmly invited to celebrate our National Day Mass on Monday, 31 August 2026. The celebration will begin with Lauds (Morning Prayer) at 8.15 am, followed by Mass. A potluck breakfast will be held after the Mass. We look forward to celebrating this special occasion together as a Parish community.

PPC & PCC COMBINED MEETING

A combined meeting of the PPC and PCC will be held on Tuesday, 25 August at 7.30 pm in the St. Giles Room. All PPC and PCC members are kindly requested to be present. There will be a fellowship before the meeting prepared by Ms June Thoo.

BEC GATHERING

St. Jude BEC gathering will be held on Wednesday, 26 August 2026, at 7.30 pm. For more information, please contact Ms Sheila Fernandez (013-9351918).

 

 

DIVINE MERCY CHAPLET

Since July 2026, we have been praying the Chaplet before the Blessed Sacrament and the First-Class relic of St. Faustina. Groups gather daily at 3.00 pm during the Hour of Mercy in the Adoration Room. Anyone who is interested in joining, kindly be present by 2:55 pm.

 

BECCOT MEETING

There will be a BECCOT meeting on Wednesday, 2 September 2026 at 8.00 pm at St. Giles’ room. All BEC leaders are encouraged to attend.
